Hi, I'm Kay - founder of Kay-Nine and a lifelong animal lover.
At Kay-Nine, I offer kind, reliable dog walking and pet sitting - care that comes straight from the heart. I know how much your pets mean to you, because pets have always meant the world to me. That's why I treat every pup and pet in our pack with the same love, patience and genuine passion for their happiness that I believe every pet deserves.
Whether your pet is outgoing or shy, playful or cuddly, or anything in between, I take the time to get to know them - making sure they feel totally at ease and loved while they're with me. I'll walk them (if they're a dog!), care for them and love them like they're part of my own little gang.
Kay-Nine's Philosophy
At Kay-Nine, my approach is simple: be gentle, kind and treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. I believe in respecting each animal's unique personality and needs, creating calm, caring experiences that make them feel safe and loved.
Why Kay-Nine?
While no formal qualifications are legally required to be a dog walker or pet sitter, I've committed to doing things the right way. I've completed canine and pet first aid training, secured full insurance and am DBS checked for your peace of mind. Currently, I'm also enrolled at the British College of Canine Studies, working towards a certification in Dog Walking & Pet Sitting.

The Story Behind Kay-Nine
I spent 8 years quietly working behind the scenes in NHS-related roles and I'm grateful for that time and the friendships I made. I didn't plan to leave - I just realised I needed something different for my wellbeing.
I love animals and being outside always lifts my mood. I have always loved animals - from childhood moments like the photo below of me with my aunt's dog, to caring for hamsters, gerbils, mice, fish, guinea pigs, cats and a tortoise over the years. So I started Kay-Nine, a pet care business focused on kindness and trust.
I'm looking forward to growing this slowly, in my own quiet way. I am excited to begin this new chapter where I can pour my time and energy into animal care.
